Diane has told me about these dogs since her litter in 2006 and said that they were great family dogs with lots of energy. I have had dogs my whole life and I have had some great breeds of dogs like, Golden Retrievers and Labs. But I can tell you this, I have only had Koa for a couple weeks and my family and I love him very much. He is very intelligent and learns things very quickly. Koa loves to play with our Black Lab Andi who is 7 years old and our Lab loves to play with Koa. At times I laugh so hard it seems I may bust open. It is amazing just how much energy he has but he is more then willing to lay in your lap and sleep.
About 2 years ago I was introduced to mini Aussies through Steve and Diane Zmolek. I decided that when I was ready to get another puppy, a mini Aussie was to be the one. On Jan 5, 2008, I became the proud owned of my first, and not last, mini Aussie, named Jazz. Even before she was ready to come home with me, Diane encouraged me to come visit the puppies at about 5 weeks and would send weekly pictures of the litter, telling about the activities and the growing they were doing.. I was invited to attend a puppy evaluation at 8 weeks, and it was awesome. I learned so much about mini Aussies . Diane has always been willing to answer questions, to explain and share their love of the breed and to share that love and information with prospective owners. Jazz is the smartest puppy I have ever owned and she learns so quickly. Diane and Steve spent many hours playing and socializing this litter, so that my training and workin! g with Jazz are made easy. I am afraid the dog is going to be smarter than me as she catches on SO quickly to new things and is so eager and willing to please. I couldn't be happier with Jazz and with the support that I have received from Diane and Steve and I know that they will continue to be there for any questions that I might have down the road. I would 100 % recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a mini Aussie.
